About Card Match
Card Match is a classic memory game where you turn over cards to find matching pairs of symbols. Sixteen cards are arranged in a grid with eight unique symbols, each appearing exactly twice. Your goal is to remember where each symbol lies and reveal all eight pairs with as few wrong flips and as quickly as possible.
The game uses a points system: you start with a base of 1000 points, then lose 5 points for every second that passes and 10 points for each incorrect pair you flip. Your final score is capped at a minimum of 50 points, so even slower games still reward completion. This scoring encourages both speed and accuracy, giving you a clear target to beat in future rounds.
In Practice Mode, the cards are shuffled randomly each time you start a new game. You can play as often as you like, making it ideal for sharpening your memory skills or enjoying casual sessions. Daily Mode uses the current date as a seed for the layout, so everyone who plays that day faces the same arrangement. You get one Daily game per day, and completing consecutive days builds your streak. All data—best score and streak—is stored locally in your browser. Card Match is part of Recommande Jeux, Australia’s free social gaming platform for points-based entertainment with no real money involved.
